Woman pleads guilty to aggravated DUI in fatal wreck

For a woman who pleaded guilty to a felony drunken driving charge, in connection with a fatal near the wreckage of Carbondale recent years.

Thirty-5-year-old Julie Earl of Perryville, Missouri, faces up to 14 years in prison in strengthening the DUI count on which it is Jackson County Circuit Court

Holiday DUI arrests up in Pa

In the first New Year's holiday under a tougher Pennsylvania standard for drunken driving, there were nine more DUI arrests and one less fatal accident involving alcohol than a year ago - but more than twice as many people died on the state's roads.
