Wizards’ Brown Arrested For DUI; Forward Charged In Ga. Home Town

Washington Wizards forward Kwame Brown was arrested last Friday in his
home town of Brunswick, Ga., and charged with driving under the influence,
failure to maintain a lane and having an open container of alcohol in the
vehicle, all misdemeanors.
Brown, the first NBA player to be drafted No. 1 out of high school, was
pulled over at 2:59 a.m. Friday after Glynn County police observed his
2003 Hummer H2 cross the center line of Spur 25, a main road in Brunswick,
