Ty Pennington, host of ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," pleaded no contest Friday in a misdemeanor drunken driving case. Pennington, 42, had been charged with two misdemeanor counts _ driving with a blood-alcohol level above the 0.08 percent limit and driving under the influence of alcohol. He pleaded no contest to the first count and the other count was dismissed, said Frank Mateljan, a spokesman for the city attorney's office. Actress Stockard Channing (search) pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor drunken driving charge stemming from an incident last year on the Hollywood Freeway. Channing, 61, who won an Emmy for her role as the first lady on NBC's "The West Wing," (search) was ordered to pay a $390 fine and take part in an alcohol education program after pleading no contest (search) Thursday, said Frank Mateljan, a spokesman for the city attorney's office. Hilton Pleads No Contest in DUI Case

Paris Hilton was placed on 36 months probation and ordered to pay fines after pleading no contest Monday to alcohol-related reckless driving, a reduction of an original charge of driving under the influence. Hilton, 25, did not appear in court. The plea was entered by her attorneys Howard Weitzman and Shawn Chapman Holley, the city attorney's office said. Judge Michael Sauer also ordered her to attend an alcohol education program and imposed other conditions. He gave Hilton the option of reducing her probation to 24 months if she completed 40 hours of community service. No immediate decision was made on that option.

Actor Haley Joel Osment Pleads No Contest to DUI, Pot Charges

Haley Joel Osment pleaded no contest Thursday to misdemeanor drunken driving and drug possession charges resulting from a July accident in which he crashed his car into a mailbox. Superior Court Judge John Doyle sentenced the 18-year-old actor to three years probation and ordered Osment to spend 60 hours in an alcohol rehabilitation and education program, as well as attend at least 26 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings over a six-month period. The troubled young star recently completed a 30-day stint in Wonderland rehab facility in Los Angeles and is now going to Promises in Malibu, In Touch reported. Promises is the same place where singer Britney Spears sought treatment after shaving her head. For Lohan, 20, it was a wild holiday weekend even by her own standards. Saturday morning before dawn Lohan crashed her Mercedes on Sunset Boulevard. She fled the scene, but was quickly arrested and charged with driving under the influence. Mitch McCann told CBS News correspondent Meg Oliver. There was some additional contraband found in the vehicle. Late Sunday night, according to In Touch magazine, Lohan continued to party at a Hollywood nightclub. On Monday morning, shocking photos surfaced of the Georgia Rule star passed out in a friend's car. Photos: A Year of Lohan Web site X17online.com posted the photos on Monday, which it said were taken early that morning at a gas station after the 20-year-old actress left the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, Calif., with a girlfriend. The photos show Lohan, wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt, with her mouth open and her eyes shut, apparently asleep. Another photo shows her kneeling on the ground, her back to the camera, apparently before getting into the vehicle. Leslie Sloane Zelnik, Lohan's publicist, didn't return repeated phone calls and e-mail messages from The Associated Press seeking comment. Lohan's estranged father says he wants to talk with his movie star daughter. The actress hasn't spoken with her father, Michael, in years, but he says he wants her to just get in touch with him so they can get their relationship back on track.
