Terps’ Henderson Charged With DUI

E.J. Henderson, the best defensive player on Maryland’s football team this season, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol after being detained by campus police early Sunday morning. Coach Ralph Friedgen yesterday said Henderson has been disciplined but will play Saturday when the 25th-ranked Terrapins face Virginia. In a statement released by the athletic department, Friedgen announced the two-time ACC player of the week has been suspended from the starting lineup and will not be given the four game tickets that all players receive.
