Strickland Pleads Guilty to DUI

Former Washington Wizards guard Rod Strickland pleaded guilty yesterday
to driving under the influence of alcohol on the George Washington Memorial
Parkway and was sentenced to 10 days in jail.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Barry R. Poretz also put Strickland, who now plays
for the Portland Trail Blazers, on supervised probation for two years and
ordered him to attend substance abuse counseling and pay $1,010 in fines
and fees.
Strickland, 34, was arrested four times during his five years as a Wizard,
