Speeding Nets Palmer DUI Charg

Washington Redskins rookie defensive end Sterling Palmer was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and refusal to take a blood or breath test after being stopped for speeding early Tuesday morning in Ashburn, Va. Palmer was stopped for speeding at 2:11 a.m. Tuesday on Ashburn Village Boulevard, said Darryl DeBow, spokesman for the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Department. He spent the night in jail, and DeBow said Palmer would be arraigned Friday in traffic court. Palmer, who has missed two games with a knee injury, participated in yesterday’s practice at Redskin Park. He’s listed as doubtful for Monday night’s game in Miami. |
