Redskins’ Smith Charged With DUI

Redskins DE Bruce Smith has been charged with driving under the influence
of alcohol.
Smith’s attorney said Smith was stopped for speeding on Friday night in
Virginia Beach. The officer had Smith take a breathalyzer test, which registered
.08, just below Virginia’s legal limit for driving while intoxicated.
This isn’t Smith’s first DUI. He was charged in 1997, but was cleared
after testifying that he suffers from sleep apnea.
