A 21-year-old Lexington Park woman died early Thursday after the car she
was riding in crashed into a telephone pole.
The driver, William Francis Heather, 21, of Lexington Park was arrested
on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, according to the
Maryland State Police.
Christine Lee Harper, who was in the front passenger’s seat — the side
of the car that smashed into the pole — was pronounced dead at St. Mary’s
Hospital. The other passenger, Jesse John Harper, 27, also of Lexington
Park had head injuries and …
