An Oct. 20 Metro story on the District’s DUI policy was accompanied by
a graphic with National Highway Traffic Safety Administration figures
saying that more than 2,000 alcohol-related fatalities nationwide in 2004
involved drinkers whose alcohol levels were below the legal limit of .08.
