Man Gets Rough Sentence Under New Law for DUI

A conviction unprecedented in a case of drunk driving and Eaton County. Russel Dunham was sentenced to two counts of second-degree murder, on Wednesday. It stems from an accident last May in Eaton Rapids Township. Dunham police say was drunk when he ran a stop sign and led to another car. Two women were killed, another woman in the car and a passenger in a car Dunham. The prosecutors said they were in the situation with a view of this assassination, because convinced that the new legislation has recently been adopted. |

Richie prefers to do DUI time in Los Angeles County jail
A pregnant Nicole Richie wants to serve her time for driving under the influence of drugs in the Los Angeles County jail, authorities said Thursday. Richie's lawyer contacted the county Sheriff's Department earlier this week and indicated the reality TV star wanted to serve her four-day sentence in county lockup rather than a city jail, sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said. Whitmore said he had no additional details, including when Richie might surrender to begin the sentence. She must complete it by Sept. 28. Green Bay Packers wide receiver Koren Robinson was sentenced Wednesday to 90 days in jail for violating probation in a drunken driving case. The sentence allows Robinson to finish this season before having to comply within five months.
