Attorney enters not-guilty plea for Paris Hilton in DUI case
Paris Hilton's attorney appeared in court for her Tuesday and entered not-guilty pleas on her behalf to charges of misdemeanor driving under the influence. Hilton, 25, wasn't required to appear in court. She was arrested in Hollywood in September. Police said they saw her "driving erratically" and pulled her over for a field sobriety test. The judge set a pretrial hearing for Jan. 23 and said the trial must begin by Feb. 23. St. Louis Rams defensive end Leonard Little was charged with a felony for drunken driving and speeding Monday, five years after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter for an accident that killed a woman. Little His latest arrest came early Saturday morning, after he was pulled over for speeding by police in the St. Louis suburb of Ladue. A probable cause statement filed by police said Little had bloodshot and watery eyes, smelled of alcohol and failed three sobriety tests. Beer executive Pete Coors pleads not guilty to DUI charge
Beer company executive Pete Coors has pleaded not guilty to charges of driving under the influence and failing to stop at a stop sign. His attorney entered the pleas for him Tuesday and Coors did not appear in court, said Jefferson County district attorney's spokeswoman Pam Russell. Coors, 59, vice chairman and a director of Molson Coors Brewing Co., was pulled over by the state patrol May 28 after he left a friend's wedding celebration. Company spokeswoman Kabira Hatland has said Coors rolled through a stop sign a block from his Golden home and was stopped by the officer in his driveway.
