Ty Pennington, host of ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," pleaded no contest Friday in a misdemeanor drunken driving case. Pennington, 42, had been charged with two misdemeanor counts _ driving with a blood-alcohol level above the 0.08 percent limit and driving under the influence of alcohol. Actress Stockard Channing (search) pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor drunken driving charge stemming from an incident last year on the Hollywood Freeway. Hilton Pleads No Contest in DUI Case

Paris Hilton was placed on 36 months probation and ordered to pay fines after pleading no contest Monday to alcohol-related reckless driving, a reduction of an original charge of driving under the influence. Hilton, 25, did not appear in court. The plea was entered by her attorneys Howard Weitzman and Shawn Chapman Holley, the city attorney's office said. Judge Michael Sauer also ordered her to attend an alcohol education program and imposed other conditions. Haley Joel Osment pleaded no contest Thursday to misdemeanor drunken driving and drug possession charges resulting from a July accident in which he crashed his car into a mailbox.
