Busta Rhymes Arrested on DWI Charge
Busta Rhymes was arrested on a drunken driving charge early Thursday, police said, marking the latest in a series of recent legal troubles for the rapper. Officers stopped Rhymes at about 12:40 a.m. because the sport utility vehicle he was driving had overly tinted windows, Sgt. Mike Wysokowski said. He said officers then smelled alcohol on the rapper's breath. Rhymes, 34, was taken into custody on a charge of driving while impaired, Wysokowski said. An arraignment was expected later Thursday. DUI charge in fatal car crash at lake
A man who was behind the wheel when a car plunged into a lake, killing his girlfriend's three children trapped inside, has been charged with driving under the influence. A police officer collects stuffed dolls Wednesday morning from the bank of Clinton Lake in Clinton, Ill. Authorities are still investigating and have not determined whether the plunge was an accident, or even why the car was next to the lake, Sheriff Roger Massey said. 11-Year-Old Girl Charged With DUI After 8-Mile Police Chase
Police who chased a car for miles along a highway at speeds up to 100 mph said the driver was drunk, hardly a rarity in this resort town. But there was more: When they looked inside the flipped vehicle with guns drawn, they found an 11-year-old girl at the wheel. "You go up there thinking it's a felon you're dealing with," assistant police Chief Greg Duck said.
