NFL NOTES; Griese Takes Responsibility After Being Arrested for DUI

Broncos QB Brian Griese is taking full responsibility for actions
that led to his weekend arrest for driving under the influence.
“I’m going to stand up and take it like a man, go on from
there,” Griese said yesterday.
It was the first comment Griese has made since he was pulled
over Saturday traveling 80 mph in a 65-mph zone on Interstate 25 in
south Denver.
Griese failed roadside sobriety and breathalyzer tests and was
taken to a detoxification facility in nearby Aurora, Colorado State
Patrol trooper Rob Marone said.
