The basketball future of Gophers guard Mitch Ohnstad is in jeopardy after his second drunken-driving arrest in 18 months. Ohnstad and his father, Jim, met with Gophers coach Dan Monson on Thursday morning after the coach learned of an August arrest in Ohnstad’s hometown of Faribault, Minn. Monson would not comment on Ohnstad’s future with the basketball team other than to say he hopes to announce a decision today. Ohnstad, however, did not lift weights with his teammates Thursday afternoon. The Gophers’ first official practice is Saturday morning.
