Texas Rangers pitcher Vicente Padilla was charged with drunken driving July 7 in Dallas County, according to court records. The former Phillie has made four starts since, winning two, and is scheduled to take the mound tonight against the Los Angeles Angels. Texas general manager Jon Daniels said he first heard about the arrest Monday. The Rangers said they would “reserve judgment” on the case.
